Speaker Request Program
Please note that our Speaker Request Program will be closed for the summer months of June – August, 2010. But we will be pleased to take your speaker requests now for dates after September 1, 2010.

Please note that our speakers can give general legal education only. If you or members of your group have specific legal problems, you should seek professional help.
We can provide you with a free qualified volunteer speaker to give a presentation on the legal topic of interest or concern to your group. Our speakers will come and talk to your group about a variety of legal topics including:
- Debtor protection
- Employment insurance
- Employment standards
- Family law
- Health care consent
- Landlord and tenant law
- Power of attorney
- Probating an estate
- Scams to avoid
- Starting a small business
- Writing a will
- And more
We provide speakers to a variety of community organizations, such as public libraries, community centres, seniors groups, schools, service organizations, women's groups, and immigrant serving organizations. Where possible, we will provide speakers who can present in English, French, and immigrant languages. Please note that each request requires a minimum of 15 people in attendance.
