We offer law-related education in immigrant languages for BC's newcomers. Our services include booklets, as well as radio broadcasts and newspaper articles in the ethnic media.
Our Cultural Minorities Program staff organize radio broadcasts and the publication of newspaper articles on popular legal topics in the following languages:
Punjabi, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese and Persian.
The guest speakers on our radio programs include volunteer lawyers, police officers, doctors, government representatives, and immigrant settlement workers. For more information about our Cultural Minorities Program, please call Elena Renderos at 604-331-5407 or email elenar@publiclegaled.bc.ca.
Please note that our Cultural Minorities Program staff can arrange public legal education events only. They cannot provide you with legal advice. If you or members of your group have specific legal problems, you should seek professional help.
