Law-Related ESL Program
Our ESL teacher visits ESL classes to teach immigrants enrolled as ESL students the basics of Canadian and BC law. This is a free service and is available to intermediate and advanced ESL students in the Lower Mainland and south Vancouver Island regions.
Using quizzes, role plays, poster-making and other student-centred classroom activities, our ESL teacher will work with the students on popular topics such as family law, employment, landlord & tenant law, and criminal law. Our ESL teacher will also provide free class sets of our introductory booklet on law for ESL students, called Learning About the Law.
